Endoscopy for Acute Gastritis

This is the view at Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy showing inflammation of the stomach wall (Gastritis). The Oesophageal wall is studded with whitish plaques. In a diabetic, these could represent a fungal infection (Moniliasis).Biopsies are taken for a more detail and accurate diagnosis.
